ABOUT DEBRA

Debra is a prolific writer and the author of numerous books. A full-time nomad since 2015, she documents her travels and creative journey on YouTube. She also appeared in the Academy Award-winning film Nomadland. Grateful for every mile and every lesson along the way, Debra considers this unconventional life one of her greatest blessings.

Since 2020, Debra traveled with her beloved dog Bandit (RIP 2015-2025) in her beautifully restored 23' vintage Class C named Phoenyx . Bandit remains a cherished part of her story. Today, Debra continues her adventures with her new travel companion, Finn, who brings fresh joy to life on the road.

Before Phoenyx, Debra spent five years exploring the country in a converted camper van, Fancy Free, with her two senior pups, Nonni & Bentley until their passing in 2017.

Debra is full-time RVer, a TBI thriver (Traumatic Brain Injury), an author, a YouTube vlogger, and a Patreon blogger . Her work blends storytelling, resilience, gratitude and the beauty of a life lived on the open road.
